VCRS Symposium
The Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society organizes our Annual Scientific Symposium (VCRS Symposium) which promotes scientific discussion and collaboration and provides a platform for presentation of new scientific knowledge by both established researchers and trainees. This event is hosted by the current president of the VCRS. The VCRS also sponsors lectures at major veterinary meetings throughout the year including VMX (formerly known as the NAVC conference) and ACVIM Forum.

The 43rd Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society (VCRS) Symposium will be held from September 21 to 24, 2025, at the Hôtel Verso in Magog. This international scientific event is organized by Mathilde Leclère .
Several faculty members from the Department of Clinical Sciences will participate in the program as guest speakers: Jean-Pierre Lavoie , Sébastien Buczinski , Marion Desmarchelier , Sophie Mainguy-Seers and Isabelle Masseau . The symposium will also bring together experts from the Université de Montréal, the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine , Texas A&M University , McGill University and the University of Calgary.
